Position Summary

Seek Now seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Audit Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards. This role involves working closely with technology and governance teams and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth audit processes, maintain accurate records, and track audit findings for resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • · Audit Planning & Coordination
    • Assist in developing annual audit plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between auditors and internal technology and governance teams.
  • Gather and organize necessary documentation for audits, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • · Audit Execution & Support
    • Facilitate communication between auditors and relevant departments.
  • Monitor audit progress and address any logistical issues.
  • Support audit teams by providing access to required systems, reports, and personnel.
  • Track audit requests and follow up on outstanding items.
  • · Compliance & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of audit findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Assist in preparing audit reports and presentations for management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and track the implementation of corrective actions and process improvements.
  • · Process Improvement & Risk Management
    • Identify areas for process enhancement based on audit findings.
  • Assist in developing and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Support risk assessments and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes and industry trends affecting audits and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: High School Diploma Required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in auditing, compliance, or a related field. Experience in internal audits, external audits, or risk management in the Insurance industry is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and audit software. Familiarity with cloud compliance and management tools is a plus. Ability to learn audit automation development strategies with scripts, code, and automation tools is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Training Skills: Ability to train other personnel on the basic auditing techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
  • Integrity & Confidentiality: Strong ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulatory compliance, SOX audits, or ISO 19011 certifications.
  • Certification in auditing (e.g., CIA, CISA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., SOCII, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS).

Work Environment:

  • Remote position with approximately 5% travel requirement to office headquarters currently located in Louisville, Kentucky, and Atlanta, Georgia.
  • May require occasional weekend or evening availability based on deployment/maintenance schedule or other business needs.

Physical Demands:

  • Typical in-office activities (sitting, standing, and walking).
  • Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment.

Travel:

  • 5% Travel Requirement for occasional meetings/events at headquarters.
